The Colombian industrial process, immersed in the import substitution industrialization model -ISI-, which occurred between 1945 and 1980, caused and encouraged socio-technical changes in the country, especially in highly industrialized areas such as the department of Antioquia and the surrounding area. of its capital -Medellín, Bello, Envigado, Itagüí-.
