Access and Reuse Policies

The journal *Science, Culture, and Society*, with the firm aim of promoting the exchange of knowledge, is an open-access publication, ensuring that its content is available free of charge and serves as a valuable resource for the academic community. This approach is grounded in the principles established in the Budapest Declaration (BOAI, 2002), which defines open access as free and unrestricted availability on the Internet. In this regard, users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, and link to the full texts in their various formats, provided that the source is properly cited.

Consistent with its diamond open access model, the journal does not charge editorial processing fees or article publication costs, ensuring equity in the dissemination of scientific knowledge.

The journal Ciencia, Cultura y Sociedad is a biannual scientific publication, published on a rolling basis, managed by the Publications Office of the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Outreach at the Evangelical University of El Salvador (UEES). Its content is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 4.0 International license, which allows for its use and redistribution under the terms established by said license.
