Abstract

Against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic and mandatory quarantine, this article explains how churches have responded to the forced lockdown and have used social media and streaming platforms to continue their ministry; this was not entirely easy for some, as it put to the test what it means to be a church, and this very fact presents us with several challenges for the future, but it also leaves us with many lessons, as outlined in this article.
