Abstract

This study aims to offer a comprehensive approach to understanding and applying Scripture in daily life, combining exegesis, hermeneutics, and praxis. Exegesis focuses on interpreting the biblical text by considering its historical, cultural, linguistic, and literary context. Hermeneutics, as the art and science of interpretation, encompasses diverse perspectives. Praxis seeks the practical application of Scripture in daily life, transforming both individuals and society. These approaches ensure a deep understanding and relevant application of Scripture, fostering a dynamic and authentic faith. Psalm 1 is selected for this study because of its theological richness and its ability to lay the foundation for a blessed and fruitful life, highlighting the importance of meditating on God’s Word and being faithful to His will.
