Abstract

In this essay, the author explores the need for a faithful and relevant application of the biblical text in expository preaching. He argues that preaching that does not include valid and transformative applications lacks the ability to guide the congregation toward spiritual and moral maturity. His article challenges us to consider how our interpretations and applications of Scripture can and should impact the daily lives of believers.
