Abstract

This article develops the political dimension of charisms based on the biblical text of 1st Corinthians 12. This is done through an exegetical analysis. Through a political hermeneutics of the text, charisms are analyzed as mediations
of liberation in four areas: the political confession of Jesus as Lord, the manifestation of a multiform God, the foundation of a participatory politics and the overcoming of social differences.
