About the Journal
Editorial policy
Revista Teología y Realidad is a biannual publication of the Department of Theology of the Faculty of Social Sciences “Prof. y Dr. Santiago Echegoyén” and the Publications Department of the Evangelical University of El Salvador. The journal is conceived as a space for reflection and dissemination of academic-theological works on the current reality: social problems and the academic demand to generate theological, pastoral and practical reflection.
There are five sections that structure the journal: The Pastoral Reflection section, aimed at pastors and church leaders who seek input for their pastoral reflection in the ecclesial context. The Reality Analysis section seeks to think about the current problems of Salvadoran society from a biblical and theological approach, in order to propose theoretical and practical contributions from the academy.
The Theological Research section includes works in the biblical, theological and pastoral areas of both professors and students who complete their seminary or research workshop process. The section of Chair Works seeks to make known the best work done in the different chairs of the theology career, as well as some careers related to theology. And finally, the Author's Review section is intended to comment on the work of a Salvadoran or foreign author or to analyze an aspect of his or her work.
