The Universidad Evang\u00e9lica de El Salvador (UEES),<\/strong> received the visit of representatives of the Pan American Health Organization\/World Health Organization (PAHO\/WHO)<\/a>, in an institutional meeting held on June 4, 2026 in the Rectory Meeting Room.<\/p>\n

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Cristina Ju\u00e1rez de Amaya, Rector of UEES<\/strong>The event was attended by university authorities, among them the Dr. Nadia Menj\u00edvar,<\/strong> Director General of Institutional Strategic Management; Mr. Walter Bola\u00f1os,<\/strong> Director of International Relations and Cooperation; the Dr. Nuvia Estrada,<\/strong> Vice-Rector for Research and Outreach; Dr. Carlos M\u00f3nchez<\/strong>, Dean of the School of Medicine; and Dr. Carlos M\u00f3nchez<\/strong>, Vice-Rector for Research and Outreach; and Dr. Carlos M\u00f3nchez<\/strong>, Dean of the School of Medicine. Dr. Yanci Orellana<\/strong>Dean of the Graduate School.<\/p>\n

On behalf of PAHO\/WHO<\/strong>, Dr. Marcelo Korc<\/strong>, PAHO\/WHO<\/strong> representative in El Salvador, and Dr. Marcelo Korc<\/strong>, PAHO\/WHO<\/strong> representative in El Salvador, participated, as did Dr. Marcelo Korc<\/strong>, PAHO\/WHO<\/strong> representative in El Salvador. Dr. Gilma Ramos<\/strong>a national consultant on health systems and services.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, UEES<\/strong> presented its academic offerings in the area of health, its main lines of research and the strategic axes that guide institutional development. A technical exchange was also held to identify concrete opportunities for collaboration and linkage with national health priorities.<\/strong> <\/p>\n
