[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=”36209″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” css_animation=”fadeInDown”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On Monday March 11 and Tuesday March 12, the Church of the Nazarene, one of the evangelical denominations of our country, held its Central District Assembly (XXXI) in the Aula Magna facilities of our University, with the purpose of informing the Delegates, Pastors, entities of the Region, the work that the District Superintendent has done in its period, the pastors in their local churches, Pastoral Board and the Treasury, in addition to voting for the election of the new Superintendent and other ministerial positions.<\/p>\n
On behalf of our University, Mr. C\u00e9sar Mel\u00e9ndez, Director of University Chaplaincy, offered words of welcome to the attendees, in addition to sharing how our University provides support in various ways to the national evangelical church.<\/p>\n
This Assembly was attended by 200 people belonging to the 28 different churches in the Central District of El Salvador. In addition, we received a visit from Rev. Carlos Cordero, North Central Area Coordinator, Dr. Carlos Saenz, Director of the Mesoamerica Region Church of the Nazarene and Rev. Christian Sarmiento General Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene who developed an Ordination Worship where 3 brothers were ordained as Presbyters and one brother as a Deacon. It is our desire as a University to be a platform for the advancement of the gospel in our country and to accompany the development of the church of Christ.<\/p>\n
