[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=”33400″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” css_animation=”fadeInDown”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]On November 20, 2023, authorities and officials of the Evangelical University of El Salvador received a visit from Dr. William Azcuy Silvestre, Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba; Dr. Reinaldo Guerrero Mantilla, President of the business group OSDE-GEMES; and Dr. Jos\u00e9 D\u00edaz Untoria, First Vice President of the International Center of Havana (CiH).<\/p>\n
The purpose of the visit was to establish strategic alliances between the GEMES group, CiH and UEES. Dr. Guerrero, President of the GEME Business Group, expressed interest in establishing a framework agreement with UEES to carry out work in the areas of teaching, research and internationalization. At the same time, the Vice President of CiH made available to UEES to work collaboratively on pre-feasibility studies and audits.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, Dr. Guerrero presented Dra. Cristina Ju\u00e1rez de Amaya, UEES Rector, invitation to participate in the 14th International Congress of Higher Education University 2024; which will be held in February 2024 in Havana, Cuba under the theme “Higher Education of the Future: social transformation, quality, penitence and sustainability”.<\/p>\n
Present on behalf of UEES were: Dra. Cristina Ju\u00e1rez de Amaya, Rector; Dra. Mirna Garc\u00eda, Academic Vice Rector; Lic. Marcos Mart\u00ednez, Dean of the School of Legal Sciences; Lic. Marelyn P\u00e9rez, Acting Dean of the School of Business and Economics; Lic.
