Student Social Service Unit<\/strong><\/span>\"\"<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Instance responsible for orienting, directing, monitoring, and supervising students in Social Service.<\/p>\n

Social Service.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. It is a responsibility that every student must fulfill to graduate.<\/li>\n
  2. It is a tool to put your area of study into practice.<\/li>\n
  3. Its purpose is to expand and consolidate academic knowledge and skills.<\/li>\n
  4. Interaction with the reality of the country to contribute to its development.<\/li>\n
  5. It has no political ties, nor does it include lucrative business activities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Social Service is broken down as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Disciplinary hours<\/strong>. Completion of a number of hours according to the career, where the activities should be focused on the training area.<\/li>\n
    2. Environmental hours. <\/strong>Completion of 10% of the hours for practices related to the Environment, in compliance with Art. 39 of the Environmental Law of the Republic of El Salvador.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Procedure for initiating social service: <\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Comply with the requirements established in the Social Service Regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        • Academic Level.<\/li>\n
        • Type of Beneficiary Institution.<\/li>\n
        • Entry of documentation.<\/li>\n
        • Approval by the University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          1. Contact the Student Social Service Unit for guidance.<\/li>\n
          2. Attend the informational meetings held by the Student Social Service Unit with the support of the faculty.<\/li>\n
          3. Enter the project into the Student Social Service System for review and approval.<\/li>\n
          4. If approved, initiate compliance with the total disciplinary and\/or environmental hours.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Since this year 2022, the process has been updated to facilitate and expedite the delivery of documentation. Now it is done virtually<\/u>, through the Student Social Service System.<\/p>\n
